The less people have, the more they want it, trying to fill the most important yet emptiest space in their lives.
Maternal half-brothers, seven years apart
Aloof older brother x clingy younger brother
(maybe)
When Liang Jinhui was fourteen, his mother remarried and brought home a seven-year-old little brother.
Whether or not he had a younger brother didn't really matter to him. He still went to and from school alone every day and bought dinner at the convenience store after school.
Then one day, he came home to find the house brightly lit. A little shorty was standing in front of his bedroom, staring blankly at a wooden board for no apparent reason. He didn't look too bright.
"What are you doing outside my room?" He couldn't help reaching out and ruffling the little shorty's head. The boy seemed to have just heard him. He looked up at him with wide eyes, and a few seconds later, as if confirming something, said crisply, "Hello, big brother."
This kid was like a slightly dim-witted little doll.
"Big brother, do you want candy?" the little shorty asked.
"No."
"Oh... Then, big brother, do you want chocolate?"
"No."
"Then do you want cookies?"
This kid sure talked a lot.
