The human world is under attack by ghosts and monsters. Jin Fan, the Child of the Stars, is forced by fate to undergo inhuman trials within his family. Guided by the stars and wielding the Sword of the Stars, he slays demons and monsters across the land. Along the way, he makes many close friends, then encounters his older brother, the Child of the Night. Together, they roam the world, moving among the hundred ghosts.
