He's Insecure, So What?

◎ Blurb

At eighteen, Ji Fengze didn't even have the word "trouble" in his life's dictionary. He was in the prime of youth, with basketball, games, brothers, and friends, living freely and carefree, until he happened to get close to someone.

Xia Yan.

[Wow, that face is devastating up close! My wife is so well-behaved today, but his eyes look so lonely... Ze, you dog, at least look at him!]

[Keep acting like you don't care now. You'll be crying when you have to chase your wife later! Marking this and waiting for the scum gong to crash and burn!]

Scum gong? Chasing his wife? Wife?

It turned out he was the main gong in a BL novel, and Xia Yan was the main shou.

Those bizarre comments followed him like a shadow. Whenever he got within a certain distance of Xia Yan, all kinds of shrieks, spoilers, and righteous condemnations floated before his eyes. He would sling an arm around his buddy, and the comments would flood in with [Ignoring your wife again!]. He would order an extra serving of sweet-and-sour pork after seeing Xia Yan glance at it, and the comments could imagine eighty episodes of angsty romance: [He's finally starting to care!]

[Just you wait. The aloof campus heartthrob will turn into a gloomy, lovesick ghost and go mad. That's the good stuff.]

The good news: He was the protagonist.

The bad news: If he didn't get together with Xia Yan, he would go crazy.

.

Jiang Xun had been secretly in love with his childhood friend Ji Fengze for many years. When his feelings were about to become impossible to hide, he chose to go abroad and pretended he had moved on, with a twelve-hour time difference between them.

Three years later, he received news: Ji Fengze had come out and gotten a boyfriend.

Jiang Xun returned to the country that very night.

Then he realized that he shouldn't have left in the first place.

◎ Ji Fengze is the gong / Jiang Xun is the shou

◎ Both are each other's first and only partner. The shou changes, the ex is quite awful and has a substantial role.

Theme: Be bold and direct in pursuing love, and find happiness in life.
