A Slacker Bug's Lie-Flat Life

Lu Ming died suddenly from overwork and was reborn in the insect world as a spoiled, aristocratic male insect, a rare A-rank.

The original body's personality was vile and arrogant. He detested his military female-insect general, Kares, whom he had been forced to marry. He liked female insects of the sub-female kind, but had to wed Kares, a tall, muscular female insect. Furious, the original owner regularly beat Kares, denied him sleep, food, and water... He even planned to use the money Kares brought with him to marry more than a dozen sub-female consorts.

Lu Ming thought the guy was nuts!

With an identity as a top-tier nepo baby, he should be eating, drinking, and having fun, then spending the rest of his life lying flat like a lazy fish.

Why torment the rich wife who paid for his life? Had he lost his mind?

Were games not fun? Were TV shows, anime, and novels not entertaining? Was fine food not delicious?

There were so many wonderful things to enjoy in insect life!

First, he would sleep until he woke naturally, then order takeout and watch comedy shows while he ate. When he got sleepy, he'd go back to bed and repeat the routine day after day. If he got tired of staying home, he'd visit another planet and broaden his horizons... As long as he didn't break character as an insect, no one would suspect a thing. He could keep spending the money his wife earned and lie flat like a lazy fish for the rest of his life, never having to get up early for an eight o'clock class again...

But one day, Kares picked him up and strode toward the bedroom without a hint of hesitation.

Lu Ming's eyes widened. "You idiot! What are you doing? I told you, I won't sleep with you!"

Kares smiled tenderly. "Don't fuss, my lord. You said the same thing yesterday..."

Lu Ming blushed. How had his spoiled playboy character fallen apart like this?!
