Song Songwu discovers that a certain cafe makes delicious little cakes. It's a bit far from home, but every Wednesday afternoon she takes the subway for an hour and a half just to get to the cafe and eat one.
Then one day, at the cafe, she suddenly notices that the man sitting with his back to her has a very familiar figure.
An hour and a half later, Lu Shengshan finishes talking with his client and rises to shake hands. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots a girl scooping up cake with a spoon.
"Didn't expect to run into you." After saying goodbye to his client, Lu Shengshan pulls out the chair in front of Song Songwu and sits down again. Glancing at the content on her tablet, he asks, "Drawing here?"
The canvas shows Song Songwu's absentminded doodles. The figure beneath her pen looks exactly like the man in front of her.
Song Songwu hunches her shoulders and quickly exits the drawing app, feeling guilty as she hurriedly puts on a delighted expression of surprise at their chance encounter. "It's been a long time, Mr. Lu."

Song Songwu first met Lu Shengshan in the summer when she was twenty-one.
Her cousin introduced him as her classmate, and the lawyer who would supervise Song Songwu's internship in the future.
Song Songwu still remembered her mother's advice. She wrestled with herself, but in the end she imitated the adults, wanting to stand up and toast Lu Shengshan in advance to thank him for looking after her in the future.
But her hand kept shaking, and her voice trembled too.
The restaurant was noisy with people at dusk. Lu Shengshan noticed how uncomfortable she was, and clinked glasses with her first as he spoke. "It's okay, just call me big brother. I'm not much older than you."
