If you woke up one day to find a [Strongest Libero Development] System suddenly in your mind, would you still believe you were living in the real world?
"This has to be a game... This is definitely a game world."
"What happens if I give up on the quests?"
Miyokawa Yayumi had always firmly believed that he was nothing more than an ordinary NPC in this world.
He wasn't being modest. He had an NPC's sense of self, and always traded the lowest possible profile for the greatest possible freedom.
His ideal life was to hole up in his room and play games until the end of time, occasionally turning into a frog and hopping around in puddles.
But this System ruined everything.
The System said, [Because I don't want to see your talent go to waste.]
...What talent did he even have?
.
This is a story about a lethargic guy with no stamina who actually has an insanely powerful mind.
Notes:
1. The protagonist is a first-year libero at Nekoma.
2. Data-driven volleyball: analyzing the stats of all twelve players on the court to figure out where the ball will land.
3. There is a System, but it doesn't play a major role. The story mainly relies on the protagonist's own abilities.
4. The Interhigh tournament is for building team chemistry, and they won't win the championship.
5. Nekoma will win the national championship at the Spring High tournament.
6. No CP. The original work is supreme!
!!Important!! Please note:
The protagonist takes Shibayama's libero position in the original Nekoma team, so Shibayama will not be mentioned in the main story.
Teshiro will not appear until around the Spring High tournament.
If Lev becomes a regular, Inuoka will also get less screen time. (You can also assume Inuoka won't be mentioned. My writing skills aren't good enough to handle that many characters.)
I'll revise the story after it's complete, so it may differ a little from what you read while following updates!
Also, nitpickers, please stay away. Thanks. I will delete comments, I really will, because comments hit me very, very hard. Readers are free to comment, so surely authors are free to delete comments too.
I wrote fanfiction, so please cut me some slack.
I don't know how long this will take, but I'll do my best not to abandon it!
If you can't accept that, just leave. I'm begging you. I'm so fragile (I drop to my knees and do a 360-degree spiral bow of surrender).
Theme: Treat others with warmth
Already bought ~ too late [666]
Write to me every day (Maomao urges)
I have already bought it, when will it be written? (Rubbing hands to urge)
It's okay, it doesn't matter if it's divided into chapters
If (hum) if you write a chapter today, I will let you go, (but!) If not, you will become a dead soul under my claws (licking claws)
Sniff (smell prey) capture
Congratulations on reaching 100 chapters (ૢ˃ꌂ˂⁎)
Come, come (๑˙ー˙๑)
Didn't you say it's updated on Saturdays and Sundays? People are there. People are there (staring at you darkly)
It's so fragrant. How could there be such a delicious meal? It's so satisfying to read more than ninety chapters in one go. This kind of furry Sanseikawa who wakes up after a defeat is the most delicious😋
