Warming Wine, Suddenly Remembering the Old Frontier

As I warm the wine, old borderlands come to mind.

An old friend’s broken halberd gathers dust.

Silver armor lies among the snows of a thousand mountains,

while the moon fills the hills, and the wind rustles on.

Happy New Year, everyone! I found this fanfic in an old high-school composition notebook while cleaning out my things at home for the New Year. To be precise, it was the first fanfic I ever wrote, haha. I thought it was super long because it filled three whole pages, but it turned out to be just over 2,000 words. I tidied it up and posted it here. I recommend searching for the song and listening along as you read, hehe.
