The top student, held up as a role model by the whole school, actually knocked a first-year high school student to the ground late at night, skillfully pulled out a lollipop, and popped it in his mouth. When he turned around, he spotted a shadow ducking behind a corner. For a rare moment, he panicked, then took a shortcut to chase after them...

Description:

He was grabbed by the throat the first time they met, and from then on they formed a deep... grudge. The very next day, he saw the other guy glaring at him resentfully, with red marks from where he'd been choked the night before. They silently moved their desks farther apart. Their daily routine consisted of one-sided taunts and insults, until their fists turned into fingers intertwined under the desk...

Main characters: Chu Huan, Mo Huaizhi. Supporting characters: classmates, teachers, and other lovable folks.

There's an amnesia plot. The bottom is a little mentally ill, with some self-harm and such. Ah, no spoilers. He might get a little crazier later on.

High school life. Some details are based on my observations of myself and my friends. I'm not very familiar with the pace of life at top high schools, so please forgive me if it doesn't ring true.

There are no real-life models. All characters and plot elements are original, and all names are original. Place names may be borrowed.

There's a lot of Mo's inner monologue because I want to create a sensitive little cat kind of character. Skip it if you find it boring, just a heads-up.

This is my first serious attempt at writing a novel, so there may be typos (I did go to school). Please forgive me. I wrote the first few chapters in my notes app before deciding to post them, so I didn't pay attention to a lot of things. The word count varies wildly, and later I got too lazy to check and revise every single chapter. Sorry!

Basically a practice run.
