The Silent Nanny to a Villain in a Period Novel

- The male lead is a jerk early on, then truly regrets it and chases his wife in the later half.

Office worker Chi Xue transmigrates into 1988 and becomes Chi Daya, a mute girl who goes to the city to work as a nanny.

It is only when she happens to hear the owner's name in the mansion that she realizes she has transmigrated into a book. The male owner is the major villain in this period drama.

He's sensitive and dark, stops at nothing to get what he wants, and yet was born with an exceptionally handsome face.

-

Huo Yiting has a private ailment and needs a discreet nanny to care for him closely.

As a mute girl who can't read or write, she is naturally the ideal choice.

After all, she can't reveal any of his secrets.

-

One day, Huo Yiting wakes from a deep sleep and happens to see the little nanny engrossed in a book.

She can read, which means she can write, too.

Furious, he locks her in the basement and interrogates her, demanding to know who sent her to investigate his secrets and how much she has told them.

-

The woman curls up on the little bed in the dark room.

Huo Yiting drags her off the bed, grips her chin, and lifts her face, wanting to see her expression. But his gaze can't help lingering on her slightly parted lips...
