[Before You Read]
The protagonist, Ye Xinyan, first appeared in Dreaming of Qingzhou. This story and its companion, Dreaming of Qingzhou, take place in the same universe. Xu Qingru, the heroine of the companion story, makes a guest appearance here.
This is a gen story with no romantic pairings. The entire cast has platonic relationships. There may be crack pairings in the extras, but they aren't connected to the main story.
The protagonist in one sentence: A genius, a pure genius player. Blue Rain's first female player and the team's fourth captain.
"Congratulations to Blue Rain on winning the championship in Season Six!"
Listening to the radio in the car, Ye Xinyan's thoughts were a mix of emotions: What a shame I won't get to share in this glory.
Then, during her junior year summer break, the player Lord Grim sent her a friend request.
"You have the talent to play professionally. Have you considered pursuing it?" Ye Xiu said.
"I've tried, but maybe I'm just not suited for it."
"Won't you give it some more serious thought?"
Ye Xiu, the talent scout who finds the best in every kid, lures Ye Xinyan back into the world of Glory once again.
"I don't care who my opponent is. I just want to win!"
"Thank you, everyone. Joining Blue Rain is the decision I've never regretted."
