Betraying One's Betters

You Yi discovered that a young woman had moved into her home.

Her mother formally introduced the woman as the new stepmother she had found for her.

She lightly pressed her tongue against the roof of her mouth and silently repeated her stepmother's name: Wen Ran.

Her long hair fell to her waist, her skin was fair, and her eyes smiled. Every detail was exactly her type.

So this really was a new stepmother she'd found for her.

That very day, Colonel You, busy with official duties, took a spaceship to a remote planet. Not long after, the Federation received news that she had died in the line of duty.

You Yi refused to believe it, and Wen Ran didn't want to believe it either. Her relationship with Colonel You had always been a fragile arrangement. She had only been seeking the woman's protection.

The title of stepmother became void in an instant, but Wen Ran still chose to stay with the You family.

One day, Wen Ran barged into You Yi's dreams without invitation.

She lifted the waterfall of black hair with her own hands, felt the strands slip between her fingers, and let her sharp canine teeth slowly pierce the gland at the back of her young stepmother's neck...

You Yi woke up blushing and changed the sheets without expression. Then came a dramatic heat, and she used it as an excuse to enjoy her stepmother's attentive care.

That outrageous dream planted a seed in her mind, and as time passed, desire grew unchecked in her heart.

At her mother's funeral,

the young woman wore a black dress that covered her from head to toe, revealing no skin at all. Even her hands were modestly covered by black lace gloves.

You Yi's unabashed gaze traveled inch by inch over the young woman's body. Like a patient predator, she watched her target without a sound.

That night, she claimed she was too scared to sleep alone and climbed into her young stepmother's bed.

She inherited her mother's estate, including her stepmother.
