[The blurb has been taken down. If you want to read the story after their identities are revealed, start from Chapter 35. There'll be lots of sweet couple moments!]
In their previous life, Rong Zhao and Yagu were, on the surface, a deeply devoted master and disciple. In private, they were immortal companions who shared a bed.
One day, Rong Zhao strayed onto the demonic path and broke with Yagu. Master and disciple became enemies, love turned to mutual destruction, and Rong Zhao ultimately died by Yagu's sword. Unexpectedly, more than ten years later, he was reborn in the body of a disciple named Fang Weizhi. Rong Zhao thought he would never see Yagu again in this life, but fate had other plans: reborn once more, he became Yagu's disciple again.
Yagu lifted Fang Weizhi's chin. "My last disciple died a particularly gruesome death. Did you know that?"
Rong Zhao: "..."
Yagu: "Do you think he deserved to die?"
Rong Zhao rolled his eyes so hard they nearly reached the heavens, but still put on a fawning expression. "...He did, he did."
He had planned to act sweet and obedient to put Yagu off his guard. But after accidentally falling under an illusion spell, he spent several days kissing and clinging to Yagu, taking full advantage of him. When he woke up, he didn't even recognize Yagu. Yagu was furious, but after thinking it over, he held back.

Later, when Rong Zhao's identity was finally exposed, he knew he couldn't keep up the act and tried to run. Yagu caught him and dragged him back, locking him inside the forbidden hall.
Rong Zhao's spiritual power was forcibly sealed, and curse shackles were fastened around his wrists and ankles. Knowing there was no way he could escape now, he had no choice but to keep up his pitiful act. "Master, I didn't mean to deceive you..."
Yagu gripped Rong Zhao by the throat, his voice full of menace. "You didn't mean to?"
The tightening pressure around his neck gradually made it hard for Rong Zhao to breathe. He leaned close to Yagu, his expression fragile and pitiful, trying to placate the man before him. "Master, my feelings for you have always been sincere..."
Yagu really did let go of him. Before Rong Zhao could feel relieved, Yagu pushed him down beneath him. "But sincerity has to be shown, after all. A night as husband and wife is worth a hundred days of affection, my good disciple..."
The black bed curtains fell to the floor. A hand stretched out desperately, fingers clutching the bed frame as if a drowning person were grasping at a lifeline. But soon another large, long-fingered hand reached from behind, pried those fingers loose one by one, and dragged him back...

[Reading notes]:
1. One-on-one, both leads are virgins, happy ending. No switching or pairing them with anyone else.
2. A writing and pacing exercise.

P.S. This is my first book, and it's not very good. Thank you for bearing with me (╥﹏╥).
