Liam was a straight, overworked office drone from Blue Star, with no romantic experience whatsoever.
On his way home from work, a female colleague shoved a boys' love space opera into his hands. He flipped through a few pages at home, then fell asleep.
When he opened his eyes, he had transmigrated into the book as a cannon-fodder character doomed to die.
Forget how the original character had made enemies of the male lead and his love interest. The insect race was coming tomorrow!
Just as he was giving up hope, he awakened the more children, more blessings System.
When he learned the grand prize was a return to Blue Star and a hundred-billion subsidy, Liam thought he could give it a shot.
But when he met them, he was dumbfounded. The System hadn't said his targets would be insects!
And there were way too many kinds of insects! And what was with two beep-beeps, a tail beep-beep, and a beep-beep that...?
.
After a long age without a queen, the insects who had integrated into interstellar society no longer acknowledged the queen's rule.
Their population dwindled, their minds crumbled, and in the ensuing chaos, the insects splintered into rival factions. After all, the queen existed only as a legendary, almost mythical figure.
Until one day, a beautiful young man caught their eye.
His sweet, soft scent, and the slightest lift of his hand, were enough to instantly calm even the most volatile high-ranking insects.
But the insect leaders refused to recognize him. The official insect agency, controlled by the Interstellar Alliance, publicly denounced him as a fake.
Even the most devout high priest on the homeworld shook his head, saying he didn't match the legends, and appointed someone else as the "legitimate queen candidate."
In the face of rejection and suspicion, Liam didn't make a fuss. He quietly left the homeworld with the brood of little insect hatchlings he had given birth to.
His departure set off a full-blown showdown.
The insect race's war god surrounded the temple with his army. "Whoever dares mistreat my mommy, I'll slaughter the entire star sector!"
The insect race's energy magnate cut off all energy to those who opposed him. "My resources are for Mommy alone."
The insect race's leading scientific genius defected from the research institute. "Mommy is the one and only. You have no right to deny him."
Former comrades turned on one another. They fought to claim him and protect him, their battles turning the stars themselves crimson.
Meanwhile, Liam had already been spoiled by this bunch of insects until he was soft and plump, with glowing skin, a sweet fragrance, a soft waist and belly, and even a tender look in his eyes. He was unmistakably a little mommy who had been doted on too much.
He still wanted to open his arms and comfort them like he used to:
"Stop fighting... Come here, let Mommy hold you..."
But no one would listen.
Fathers fought fathers, sons fought fathers, and their mental energy clashed until space itself warped.
Liam hugged the little insect in his arms as it squeaked and nuzzled his chest. He was completely panicked.
On one side was his lover, and on the other his own son. They were both seeing red. Who should he comfort first?
Help, this is urgent!
