*Cool, aloof, and unfaithful female lead x spoiled playboy male lead

A tennis match makes Liang Ting fall in love at first sight with Li Guanci, one of the players in the match.

Liang Ting is a playboy who always gets the women he wants, but he has no idea how to handle Li Guanci.

Flowers? She doesn't want them.

A designer bag? She doesn't care for it.

Money? It means nothing to her.

Then Liang Ting realizes the person Li Guanci cares about most is her nouveau riche mother.

To force Li Guanci to give in, Liang Ting cuts off the funding that keeps her family's company afloat, forcing her to bow her head to him.

Eventually, he finally tricks Li Guanci into bed.

With things heating up, Li Guanci tells him she has to be on top, as in, on top of a man.

Furious, Liang Ting pulls on his pants and tries to leave, but Li Guanci won't let him go. She pins him to the bed.

Liang Ting's vision gradually blurs. He hears her say, "I wanted to let you go, but you came looking for me yourself. Don't blame me for being ruthless."
