New novel, Killing Yue Mingchao, now open for advance follows. Blurb at the very bottom.
Blurb for this novel:
[Female-centered growth x logical deduction x episodic mysteries | A sincere heart warms a heart of stone]
One midsummer night, a corpse was discovered floating in the water at Qiwuyi Academy.
The county lieutenant, who was just going through the motions, had planned to wrap things up quickly. But an unexpected troublemaker showed up and refused to let the case go: Why would someone who was good at swimming drown? And how had the victim crossed an insurmountable wall and been murdered outside it after the main gate was locked?
The troublemaker seemed to be pursuing the case purely out of a sense of justice. Only he knew that half his thoughts were focused on his mild and quiet-looking classmate.
But his classmate seemed utterly uninterested in the case. To the meddlesome boy who tried every trick to drag her into the water and involve her in the investigation, she offered only three distant yet polite words: "I don't know."

Because of a case involving a body found floating in the water, Lin Miao left the place where she had grown up and set off down an unknown road.
The world ahead was full of turmoil and tangled human affairs, with unfathomable hearts and murders occurring one after another.
On a rainy night in the wilderness, a traveler met his end at a roadside inn. Deep within a grand estate, blossoms bloomed in profusion as a woman's soul was trapped...
From Daizhou to Meizhou, a journey of hundreds of miles, she saw the living harboring hatred and heard the dead cry out in grievance. All she sought was justice.
Blurb for Killing Yue Mingchao:
Since the extermination of the Wu Cult, the jianghu had enjoyed years of peace. Then the burial treasures of Mang Wang, the hero of Mangkou Pass, were stolen from his deceased wife. The long-quiet jianghu was stirred like stagnant water, and factions from all sides sprang into action, converging on Mangkou Pass. They seemed intent on making a major move over the missing treasures.
Then, out of nowhere, a smiling young woman appeared, claiming she knew where the priceless burial treasures were.
Oh no, the plan has changed.
At first, the factions were alarmed. They had heard that this unknown country girl had eyes capable of seeing through every lie, and that trouble followed wherever she went.
But then they felt reassured. They had also heard that this reckless, penniless wanderer was in a heap of trouble, with a line of people waiting to kill her. It seemed they wouldn't have to concern themselves with her after all...

Yue Mingchao had been wandering the jianghu at her own leisurely pace for less than a year when she belatedly realized that she had made enemies everywhere.
The leaders of the evil path wanted to kill her, and so did the leaders of the righteous path. When had she become so unpopular?
Yue Mingchao didn't know. She glanced behind her and couldn't be bothered to think about it. Horse beneath her, sword at her side, she kept her spirits up and cheerfully rode toward another deadly mess.
After all, she had a good attitude, and there was still a wonderful person quietly cleaning up her messes behind her.
As for tying things up neatly, she could leave that to her teammate.
Teammate?
The cool, handsome young man in white raised his eyes slightly. His gaze was as indifferent as the plain water in his hand. With a smile that did not reach his eyes, he casually replied, "We aren't close."

At fifteen, Ye Feixing was already a renowned young hero of the jianghu. He had lived nineteen years without a care in the world, but that year someone asked him to help a person clean up her messes.
That day, he saw her just emerging from another scrape. She casually tossed a sweet made with osmanthus seeds into the air. The translucent candy gleamed like amber in the sunlight. She caught it in her mouth and smiled with delight, her eyes curving into crescents. She had no idea death was pursuing her from behind.
On a whim, he agreed.
Then he realized he might have boarded a pirate ship.
He would later regret it, of course. He regretted that this vast mortal world was so enormous that it had taken him nineteen years to find this pirate ship of hers.
Theme: Hold fast to your original purpose and pursue fairness.
The teacher's writing is very good, I look forward to the next book! Come on [cat head][cat head]
The names are rare, there are many characters, the perspective is unclear, and I don't know what to say. The plot advances chaotically, and the writing style is quite solid, but it's tasteless and a pity to discard.
"Xu Da was originally worried about being dragged into..." This is a big bug for the author~ That's it? It should be "just like that"
"The ancestral hall and the kitchen are opposite each other,..." This is a big bug for the author~ Shanzi? Silver-like flowing water? What a strange bibaqian
The first case was a bit hard to read. Maybe I saw too much about the Academy Murder Case, and I can't remember the names of the people... But the subsequent cases are getting better. Keep up the good work.
I've read half of the first chapter, and it's pretty good except for the names. It's not that the names are bad, but the names are all unfamiliar and there are too many. A small suggestion to the author. Before everyone is familiar with the character, you can use an appropriate amount of physical description to replace the name. For example, the author I like will write about a burly and sturdy woman at the beginning to replace the name of the protagonist, and wait until the reader has read part of the story before pointing out the name of the protagonist. After reading 33% of a chapter, there are too many characters, and many of their names are not important. For example, the name of the young master of the X family is not important at all.
