The bold Frost Moon guards loyalty with silence.
The gentle Long Moon brings new life through "betrayal."
The false Hare Moon brings ominous crows,
and shares the temporarily dimmed Shishui and Minazuki among them.
A spider dragging its severed limbs moves silently onward after moonset.
There is no need to rush toward the end.
A brief moment of being lost is a gift from fate.
Rest awhile and admire the scenery on the lake.
It might bring a new turning point.
As the leader of the Phantom Troupe, whose motto is wanton mischief, one infamous spiderhead has long been prepared for revenge and blood feuds. He regrets the loss of a spider's leg, but he would never let it stop the spider from moving forward.
But if there were a chance to reattach the severed limb, he certainly wouldn't refuse, even if the price were playing the part of a "ghost" to teach a child.

"Is this your first time at the gathering? I haven't seen you here before... Don't be nervous, the priest is very kind. He prepared all these snacks! Come and have some with me!"
Looking at the familiar face of the black-haired boy, lit up by an utterly innocent, cloudless smile, then at the snack pressed into his palm, ordinary but neither moldy nor poisoned, the seasoned Troupe leader couldn't help questioning his life.

A naturally wicked dark emperor of a leader, forged in the bloody crucible of early fanfiction, paired with the lively, sunny young version of that leader from a slum, as imagined by Togashi, who later turns dark for his friends.
P.S. I haven't read Hunter x Hunter in ages. The last time was ten years ago. I never expected that, after paying attention to it again a decade later, the new details about my Troupe would leave my jaw on the floor. Who could have imagined the leader was such a sweetly smiling, radiant, heartwarming little angel as a child?!
Honestly, my first reaction was that I couldn't quite accept it. But after thinking it over, I suddenly realized: who says this characterization is bad? It's perfect for a selfcest pairing! I searched, but couldn't find any fic, so I had to write my own.
