I Swear by Poison, to See You Through to Bloom

In the Plant Kingdom, flowers determine one's fate. The crown princess, Hua Yi, awakens to oleander, a power that heals and brings death alike. She is branded a heretic.

With the kingdom on the brink of collapse, she flees to the hostile Animal Kingdom. Along the way, a mysterious arrow strikes her, binding her life to Fox Lingyue, a half-blood precognitive, and giving rise to a symbiotic crest.

Bound by a thousand-year blood pact, the two gather Tiger Tianyi, the foxglove, and Bian Qingyu, the red spider lily, to form a poisonous flower squad.

The mastermind behind it all is "Master" Yin Xu, a traitor to the former emperor who seeks to extract the lifeblood of both realms and reshape the world.

The four face the trials of the Seven Sacred Relics, surviving one brush with death after another. At last, in the final battle, they trade their lives for each other: Fox Lingyue burns through her mandrake power to restrain Hua Yi's rampage, and Hua Yi unites the two sources of power to strike down Yin Xu.

After the battle, Hua Yi is crowned with the thorn crown. Fox Lingyue loses her ability to foresee the future but gains her freedom. The four become a bridge between the two realms.

It begins with poison and ends with life. A path of their own blooms among the thorns.

Theme: When a cursed crown princess, a half-blood bound by prophecy, a lone wolf burdened by a blood pact, and a night wanderer trapped in the past are forced together, a band of "misfits" forge an alliance in the ruins of the apocalypse, one deeper than blood. They are poison to one another, yet the only cure; blades fighting side by side, and each other's steadfast support.
