I Find My General Quite Alluring

Ming Yuncheng, emperor of the Liang kingdom, led his troops into battle and captured Zhong Hanzhang, a general of the Chu kingdom.

But the emperor's treatment of his captive seemed a little strange...

First, he confined him to a private residence on the outskirts of the imperial city:

Zhong Hanzhang: Is Your Majesty keeping a lover, or a prisoner of war?

Ming Yuncheng asked in return: Which would you rather be?

Then he had him brought into the palace:

Zhong Hanzhang: Have I really become Your Majesty's consort?

Ming Yuncheng: No. You have no title.

Please Read Beforehand:

1. Melodramatic, coercive relationship (though both have feelings for each other), tragic ending.

2. One-on-one romance, devoted only to each other in body and heart, older male lead.

3. The relationship is unhealthy, with a little angst.

4. It's just a very strange little story.

P.S. Somehow I turned a coercive relationship into pure love...
