He could not see the gods, but their presence was everywhere. He was afraid. He wanted to escape... To him, they were not the gods his family spoke of, but evil gods.
After paying the price to an evil god one day, he gained power of his own.
Now he would use this hard-won power to fight for the life he wanted.
