Fu Yue used to be a game streamer. Now she has transmigrated to more than a hundred years in the past, to an era when humanity has yet to defeat the insect race, and become a military academy student with C-rank mental power.
She has also brought along the game she just cleared: Cultivation Simulator.
The game has lost her completion data and reset to factory settings, and for some reason it has assigned Fu Yue a mission.
[New Player Tutorial]
You are a new disciple of Heartless Valley. After settling in, you head to the main hall and practice cultivation with the other disciples.
A string of solemn words appears: Calm your breathing and focus your mind, with unwavering concentration...
Mission: Complete Qi Induction (0/3)
Reward: One storage ring
Out of curiosity, Fu Yue took some time to complete the mission. Sure enough, a ring appeared in her hand.
In summary: She has transmigrated, and the game has mutated.
But it has mutated for the better, and Fu Yue is quite pleased. She packs her things and sets off for the Eastern First Military Academy. Once she passes the trials, she can officially become a student there.
Her plan is to get into the Eastern First Military Academy and cling to the coattails of some famous historical figures. Maybe some of their glory will rub off on her, and she'll make it into the history books too.
Day one of the trials: A spy ambushes the trial grounds, and the person Fu Yue planned to cling to is gone.
Day two of the trials: Fu Yue's squad is ambushed, and an octopus with its tentacles waving wildly grabs the teammate Fu Yue had her eye on...
One day, Fu Yue's mental power reaches S-rank, and with the help of Cultivation Simulator, she successfully ascends. The simulator's interface changes, and a new column appears on the right: an invitation list of the other transmigrators she has discovered since arriving here.
The heading above the list reads: Invite your friends to play together~
