A Confession in the 61st Second

Age gap / second chance after a breakup / mutual pining

Travel blogger x volunteer teacher

At twenty-three, Jiang Zhi was quiet and sparing with words. She was a little-known travel blogger who had crossed the deserts of the far northwest and climbed snow-covered mountains, seen golden sunlight bathing the peaks and the lingering drizzle of Jiangnan.

When she ran out of inspiration, she returned to her hometown, the village that held so many happy childhood memories. She took over the little shop her mother had left behind and became the youngest shopkeeper in the village.

At thirty, Tang Qingshi was captivating, and had no idea how seductive she could be.

When her school called for volunteers to teach in rural areas, she didn't hesitate to sign up for the most remote location. Her colleagues looked at her in confusion, but she only smiled faintly and offered no further explanation.

Yuncheng was that person's hometown. She remembered her saying, "If you miss me someday, go visit Yuncheng."

If she got the chance, she wanted to try again.

"Jiang Zhi, I don't need you to look up to me. In love, we're equals."

"Tang Qingshi, after all the hate, all I hated was that you didn't love me enough back then."
