Demon Seed is a massive, fully immersive cultivation game combining farming and management, suspense and horror, and romance.
Bai Yu downloaded it, drawn in by its reputation.
From the start, the player joins an immortal sect and becomes a disciple of Perfected Taiyan.
After a theft at the sect, the elders and sect leader suspect that a demon hiding among them has stolen a divine artifact.
Then they see Bai Yu flaunting the artifact around in broad daylight.
The sect leader, the elders, Perfected Taiyan, and the other disciples: "..."
Bai Yu argues loudly and confidently, "I found it in the forbidden zone!"
If she found it, it's hers. How can they call that stealing?
Perfected Taiyan trembles with rage. "You deliberately avoided the disciples on guard, broke through the barrier around the forbidden zone, bypassed the artifact's seals, and deliberately found it?"
Bai Yu answers without a hint of shame, "Why doesn't that count?"
Everyone thinks there's something wrong with Bai Yu.
Every day, Bai Yu sticks to a lifestyle she calls "627."
She gets up at the mao hour and goes to bed at the chou hour, and never spends the night away from home.
Every day, she plants vegetables in her garden like an old farmer and forbids anyone from entering her courtyard.
Her only social interaction is giving people flowers every day. No matter how coldly Rong Xian, Lu Li, Lin Zhao, Cui Wuque, and the others treat her, she carries on regardless.
They fall for her, and on the very afternoon they agree to her advances, they see Bai Yu holding a flower and proposing to Cui Wuque of Medicine King Valley.
Rong Xian, Lu Li, Lin Zhao, and Pei Yuchi: "..."
They discover that Bai Yu gives flowers to every young talent, and even the guard dog, Big Yellow, hasn't been left out.
Cui Wuque smiles fondly. "My fiancee can be a little playful. I hope you'll all bear with her."
Everyone: "..."
Bai Yu thinks the NPCs in Demon Seed are making a fuss over nothing. She may have pursued just a tiny bit too many people and picked up just a tiny bit too much loot, but how can they all be so intolerant, threatening to kill her?
Bai Yu: They just haven't been taught a lesson by society yet. Just wait and see as this player gives the rotten cultivation world a little shock!
Theme: Face hardship and never give in.
