In his previous life, Yan Weimian was plagued by illness and sentenced to an early death. Then he transmigrated, returning to infancy and being adopted by an old man. At last, he had a strong, healthy body. He learned martial arts and many other things he had always wanted to learn but never could.
When the old man passed away at a ripe old age, Yan Weimian left the secluded village where they had lived and discovered that this was a world where the martial arts worlds of many different novels had come together. The characters from the books he had read were all alive and real here.
Yan Weimian was greedy.
He wanted to have more, to experience more of the things he had once only dreamed of.
He befriended righteous heroes and experienced friendship. He played mind games and flirted with villains, savoring the thrill of walking the line between life and death. He liked women, and he liked men. He wanted to try everything.
And so, a young man who was both righteous and wicked appeared in the martial world. Some said he was chivalrous and always drew his blade to help the helpless; others said he was crooked at heart, always coming up with one scheme after another.
But Yan Weimian was only looking for ways to amuse himself.
His reputation was sharply divided between the righteous and the wicked.
Shen Lang: If everyone in the world were as broad-minded as you, accepting of all things, it would be wonderful.
Chu Liuxiang: Xiao Yan, being unconditionally kind to others is a very dangerous thing.
Lu Xiaofeng: Why are you involved in every single one of my troubles!
Wang Lianhua: To meet a worthy opponent is truly delightful.
Yuan Suiyun: Once I find an opportunity, I'll make sure you never recover.
Ye Gucheng: Don't you dare insult me!
