Don't Kick Me If There's Wheat

During winter break, Tao Sui was home helping her younger brother talk over voice chat when she was delighted to discover that one of his teammates had an incredibly alluring voice. With ulterior motives, Tao Sui promptly hustled her brother into the room, then spent a blissful afternoon playing games while listening to that voice.

That evening, after updating the game, she teamed up with the gaming buddy she'd been playing with for the past six months. They queued for a new mode that let players talk over voice chat.

In the match, the long-anticipating Tao Sui scampered over to her gaming buddy and asked, "Are you a good person or a bad person?"

Her buddy chuckled. "I'm a good person."

Tao Sui froze...

That familiar male voice sounded as if it were right beside her. Just how close was it?

Close enough that she'd spent the whole afternoon listening to it before dinner!
