On a winter night, Jiang Lin rescues a homeless boy and names him Shen Sirui. They present themselves to others as uncle and nephew. As they live together, Jiang Lin develops feelings for Shen Sirui that go beyond their supposed family roles. Worried about the implications, Jiang Lin deliberately distances himself and even lies that he is seeing someone. Shen Sirui leaves heartbroken. Jiang Lin searches frantically for three days and brings him back, then confesses his feelings and breaks through the barriers imposed by their identities.
