After being scolded by his father, Judge, Sanji slowly made his way into the woods.
Sanji wiped away a tear, then suddenly lost his footing and fell into the river.
The rushing water was going to drown him. Well, he was useless anyway. Maybe it was better if he died, Sanji thought.
But when Sanji opened his eyes again, he saw a girl sitting beside his bed and looking at him.
"You're awake?" The girl held a spoon and pointed it at the three children wolfing down food at the dining table. "If you're awake, come eat with us."
In all their miserable childhoods, the one tender memory they shared was a little house called Bella's Home.
There, they could eat their fill, stay warm, and have someone look after them when they were sick.
But then one day, Bella and her home disappeared.
Ten years later, the amnesiac girl appeared at sea once more.
"So this is the world of One Piece!" the girl shouted. "I'm going to become the freest person in the world!"
Then, to her horror, she discovered that a group of men had been fighting over her and had finally found her.
Forget being free, she couldn't even get off the ship!
