"Hey, classmate, you're pretty handsome. Would you be interested in working as my tutor?"
Su Yunmo: As long as you're by my side, that's all I need. Nothing else matters.
Gu Ciyue: I won't forgive you, but I love you.
I searched for him a thousand times in the crowd. Then, as I turned back, there he was, beneath the fading lights.
A seemingly aloof and abstinent seme who's dark, unhinged, and desperately starved for love inside × a sunny, cheerful Samoyed-like uke at first, who later becomes quiet and taciturn.
One-on-one, two strong leads, happy ending. The uke suffers early on, and the seme suffers later. Neither gets off easy.
If someone spends their whole life making amends for the mistakes of their reckless youth, they aren't asking the world to forgive them. They're asking their present self to forgive the ignorant person they once were. It's a cry from the depths of the soul, and a journey of self-redemption.
Theme: Strive for a better future.
