You, Me, and Her in a Parallel World

[Mystery + Wasteland + Survival]

Fresh out of college and looking for work, Xing Li sees a blood-soaked woman who looks just like her. In the middle of traffic, the woman cries, "Save me!"

The next second, the shrill sound of brakes drowns everything out.

The next day, Xing Li wakes up in a princess bed draped in lace. A maid bows and asks whether she'd like English breakfast tea or fresh milk from the estate.

A day later, before she can adjust to life among the nobility, she's transported to a damp, moldy wasteland.

A metal sign corroded by acid rain swings overhead, and foul-smelling sewage reaches her ankles.

A guard prods her back with an electric baton. "Unit 79793, if you don't finish cleaning the radioactive waste zone today, forget about getting your nutrient paste."

Just as she bends to pick up the first piece of rotting metal, she hears familiar footsteps behind her, chilling her blood.

The woman who looks exactly like her stands in the filthy curtain of rain.

With a blade in hand, she stabs Xing Li in the stomach.

"Why are you killing me?"

"If you die, I can live."
