Story One: The Wolf World's Dehua, Seducing the Alpha
A working dog enthusiast is caught in an avalanche. When he wakes, he discovers he's transmigrated into the body of a frail newborn wolf pup.
Born with a weakness and underdeveloped, he repeatedly teeters on the brink of death as he grows up. Even if he manages to survive, he's likely to become cannon fodder under the law of the jungle.
But at least he has his sister.
His sister is strong and powerful. His sister is tall and mighty. His sister has claimed a vast territory. His sister never misses when she hunts!
As long as he clings to his sister's coattails, he can avoid the fate of becoming cannon fodder.
With this belief, he grows into a capable companion wolf and begins a life as the Dehua of the wolf world.
Sadly, the good times don't last. His sister and brother-in-law disappear without a trace in a downpour while hunting away from their den.
He becomes both father and mother, struggling to raise a pack of little nieces.
Just before dawn, a handsome, powerful young male wolf enters their territory, his pheromones so strong they make your nose burn.
The protagonist knows exactly why this male wolf in rut has come.
For the vast territory, the plentiful prey, and the young, healthy females.
He knows this isn't a bad thing, but his nieces aren't fully grown yet, and getting pregnant too young would seriously harm their health.
Looking at the cubs' innocent, bewildered eyes, he grits his teeth, adopts a submissive, obsequious pose, and walks toward the male wolf.
Only much later does he realize that he had misunderstood the male wolf's intentions from the very beginning...
