Not long after her mother disappeared, Eliza began hearing the echoes of the Wild Hunt. Voices from the pitch-black abyss called to her. She strained to listen, but could never make out what they were saying.

But how could a tech nerd survive among hordes of the dangerous Wild Hunt?

A tall man came over to Eliza. She was speechless. Out of the corner of her eye, she could still see plenty of empty seats in the tavern.

“Thank you.” The man sat across from her and calmly ordered a drink.
Eliza stole a glance at him: long, dark blue hair, golden eyes, and a stern, solemn black uniform... Then the man across from her suddenly spoke.
“Miss, are you going to hunt the Wild Hunt?”
Eliza knew her chance had come.
“May I ask your name, sir?”
“Flins.” the man replied. “And yours?”
“Rebecca.”
