After reading the game introduction for five seconds, the player swiftly clicked the Skip button as it slowly appeared. The player obtained a cheat! [Talent [Health Lock]: When your health drops to its final point during battle, your health bar will lock in place. Outside of battle, this effect reduces your movement speed by 50%. Even if you can't die, does it mean you can't feel pain?!” The player answered honestly, “I really don't feel pain.” After questioning them, the person in the white coat concluded that it was a bodily self-protection mechanism triggered by intense suffering. The player: Huh? In the game, only potions could restore stamina. Other foods had no effect at all, and they were all made to taste revolting. Faced with a meal that looked delicious, the player couldn't resist taking another bite, then threw it all up. The NPC suppressed their anger. “Did someone force you to eat something?” The player: ? Who? Who could force someone with maxed-out combat power to eat? The player collapsed after running out of stamina. When they woke up, their shirt had been pulled open, and they were lying on a neatly made bed. The NPC asked gravely, “Why don't you have any scars from your injuries?” Of course, it was because their condition was completely restored upon returning to a safe point, and their wounds disappeared. The God of Destruction fell there and transformed into a ceaseless source of monsters, while the Goddess of Life became a divine tree that protected the pure land and created normal life: the people of Qiyao. Throughout the long ages, the people of Qiyao never stopped fighting the monsters. To that end, they established the Qianshan Army, commanded by a marshal, and successfully kept the monsters firmly contained on the wasteland. After that, the people of Qiyao built their capital and settled down in peace. A century ago, Ying Ye, a senior general in the Qianshan Army, led a team to the wasteland to investigate unusual monster activity. It should have been a routine mission with no danger, but the team did not return to base after the expected three days. The Qianshan Army searched the entire wasteland and found only the scattered bodies of the team members. Ying Ye was nowhere to be found. A hundred years of searching turned up nothing. Just as everyone had all but accepted that the once-brilliant young general was dead, and had stopped bringing him up with regret, Ying Ye suddenly appeared on the battlefield. They are not secretly a native of the world, and the game world will not merge with reality. The player is a player, and the game is just a game. The player themselves is not going to get hurt!!! That said, the game's main storyline does include some tragic elements, such as the truth behind the century-long disappearance (I really couldn't come up with a happy scenario for that) and the game's True End route. Those elements are just part of the game's design. They give the NPCs more to misunderstand and imagine, and make them firmly believe their own assumptions (most of what they imagine is false). The game's final ending is good for the protagonist, Ying Ye, too. For the player, those tragic elements are simply part of completing the main quests and beating the game. In short, the player won't suffer! 3. Some details in the blurb will be adjusted in the main story. 4. I've spent a long time preparing this setting, and it has at least two layers of inspiration. The truth won't be revealed until much later. I've thought carefully about many of the details, and even looked for inspiration in tabletop roleplaying games.
