After Quitting Alongside Ye Xiu

Lin Jiahe isn't someone who loves working. But as the deputy manager of Team Excellent Era, clearing obstacles so the team's players can achieve glory is the one thing she's willing to give one hundred percent effort to.

Unfortunately, her boss has a screw loose.

Not only has he mistreated the team's star player for years, but he's also kicked Ye Xiu, who poured his heart and soul into the team's victories, out the door.

Since she can't change anything by staying at Excellent Era, Lin Jiahe decides to leave with Ye Xiu.

Lin Jiahe is terrible at gaming.

A well-rounded student, she once dreamed of climbing the ranks in government or becoming an executive at a major company. Those were the brightest signposts on her path through life.

Everything changed after a classmate dragged her into the Glory rabbit hole and she became fascinated by One Autumn Leaf.

Although he'd had a feeling it might happen, when Ye Xiu actually saw Lin Jiahe pack her things and leave with him, he couldn't help feeling a little regretful. People often mocked him as "cold-hearted," but he wasn't entirely without feeling.

A brilliant student with a promising future had risen to middle management in a team, only to start over with him...

But Ye Xiu understood even better that, despite feeling this way, he had never left Lin Jiahe out of his "future."

Ye Xiu is the love interest. It's pretty obvious, right? There are lots of personal headcanons.

Lin Jiahe takes the path of helping Chen Guo run the team's internet cafe. An ordinary person rises to the peak of her career. Since the author likes love that's obvious, Ye Xiu starts out with a pretty high level of affection for her, too.
