Hey, You! Your Turtle Is Here!

A daily-life, heartwarming pet-raising story from a Chinese pond turtle's point of view.

Blurb:

The cheapest little turtle lives in the cheapest storage box.

Chuan Bei is a strong female turtle, lively and active, but very cautious. When someone comes near, she immediately hides in the gap between the basking platform and the tank. But where no one can see her, she has endless energy all day long. If the rocks and wood aren't arranged to her liking, no problem. This turtle will fix it herself!

Mo Bao is a quiet male turtle. He does everything at a leisurely pace, but he's very affectionate toward people. His daily routine is sleeping soundly in a gap or lying motionless at the bottom of the tank. They say that when a young male turtle grows up, his whole body turns a beautiful ink-black color.

After the little turtles learn to talk...

Here's Chuan Bei:

(bounces over)

"Human! Your turtle is here!"

"Human! Hurry up and feed me!"

"Human! Don't touch me with your hands. Your hands are roasting me alive!"

"Human, why can't you keep the aquatic plants alive?"

So noisy, so noisy, way too noisy!

Here's Mo Bao:

(slowly blows bubbles)

"Human, the little turtle likes you, too."

Hehehe, the human likes the little turtle, too.
