Halia first meets Oliver on the Quidditch pitch.
High above, Wood, the senior student in red training robes, deftly blocks a Bludger, and then...
The Bludger swerves and knocks her unconscious.
In the final second before she blacks out, there's only one thought in Halia's mind:
She's fallen in love with Oliver Wood at first sight.
Oliver can hardly believe his eyes. Someone is riding a broom as if she's tap-dancing!
What's more, Halia Pevaz doesn't seem to realize there's anything wrong with it. Every day, she makes a show of wobbling across the Quidditch pitch right in front of him.
No, as a helpful upper-year student, and in the spirit of not letting the broom suffer any further indignity, he has to correct Halia's awful flying technique.
Oliver (exasperated): "Halia, you have to anticipate where you're going! See that cloud? Which way do you think it's going to drift?"
Halia (looking bewildered): "The cloud... isn't it there to block the sun?"
Oliver (speechless): "...Merlin help me. I might as well teach the giant squid to ride a broom... Never mind, let's try again!"
CP: Oliver Wood x Halia Pevaz
A romance diary about a wooden-headed senior and his little sunshine of a junior.
Notes:
1. Both are Gryffindors. The story mainly follows the male and female leads, who are both each other's first and only partners. They are one year apart, and the story takes place in the next generation.
2. At heart, this is a silly, sweet romance. Don't take it too seriously.
3. The story will be about 100,000 characters long, not a sprawling epic.
4. The female lead truly has no idea how to fly. She only passed because her teacher went out of their way to help her.
5. The story opens with the female lead in her third year and the male lead in his fourth. It has a happy ending.
6. This story is purely a passion project. I'm not a canon scholar, and my brainpower is limited. My writing is average, and I have my own take on each character, which may not suit everyone's tastes. If you don't like it or think a character is out of character, feel free to leave. I don't accept writing advice. Thank you so much.
