Wu Qin can't remember how she transmigrated into a book. She's an ordinary person, and a bit conceited. Just when she thinks her actions have caused the male lead to fall in love at first sight with someone else, an even bigger secret emerges. Only after she gets caught up in it does she discover that the truth is even harder to accept...
"What! I've transmigrated into the role of a minor female character? How am I supposed to get home?"
"I remember a little about the original story. Surely I can go home once I finish the plot."
"Then I'd better get close to the female lead and make friends with her. If I get involved with her, maybe I'll get home sooner."
"Wu Qin, you can do it!"
"Wu Qin, you're done for!"
"How did you accidentally follow the original female lead's storyline and become the person the male lead falls in love with at first sight?"
Wu Qin: The protagonist of this story. Before recovering her memories, she was an utterly ordinary side character named Wu Qin, something of a bug character.
Chen Zhiqi: The female lead of the original book, High Mountains and Flowing Water. Her father is the Director of the Imperial Academy. She hates being restrained and is searching for like-minded companions.
Chen Zhoudi: The male lead of the original book, High Mountains and Flowing Water? A vice minister of the Court of Judicial Review, he deeply respects and cares for the Director's family.
Li Yuyao: A princess, cherished by the emperor and granted many privileges within the limits of his tolerance. She is in love with the person who once helped her.
Fang Zichun: The female lead's male cousin, though supposedly he disappeared many years ago.
Xu Luo: He roams the martial world, but this is very different from the person he remembers being.
This story is a bit all over the place, with a little of everything. Feel free to interpret it as you like.
It's set in an alternate history, so please forgive the many plot holes.
