When Curfew Lifts

On the eighth floor of the South City Building on Huaian Road, there was an inconspicuous care center. A group of unknown people worked in its hospice rooms, clearing the way for every dying person so their souls could enter the cycle of reincarnation. Until one day, a name belonging to one of their own appeared on a critical condition notice...

[Reader's Guide]

1. A male lead who's always the first to rush in versus a female lead who's only a little short on courage.

2. A mainstream plot with romance as a secondary storyline (partly inspired by the anime Demon Slayer).

3. An ensemble cast, no melodrama. The pacing is slow at first, so please be patient.

4. The light and dark storylines unfold together. The main storyline follows Dawnlight's perspective; the hidden storyline follows the siblings from the Li clan who hate each other, namely our Director and Master Huihai. There are two villainous bosses, one in plain sight and one in the shadows. You'll probably guess who they are when you see them. You're all smarter than me, cuter than me, and better at collecting novels than me.

In the modern-day chapters, I wanted to write episodic stories centered on hospice care. I sincerely hope this field can continue to exist, because this work is truly, truly meaningful... (Please don't let my fictional stories mislead you about this real profession. I only want to give you a rough idea. Real life is far more complicated than fiction.)
