A severe nuclear contamination event caused the global population to plummet to one billion, while living organisms underwent unprecedented mutations. Unknown monsters attacked humanity. They were enormous and indestructible.
The government quickly organized researchers to develop weapons capable of destroying the monsters. Fei Molly, a PhD in biology, went to Antarctica to search for a substance that was lethal to the monsters. On the way, she was attacked by one of them, then unexpectedly transmigrated through time to 1941, during the Second World War, because of a sudden blizzard.
A young Russian officer found her in his camp. At the same time, the monsters quietly drew near.
Unable to communicate properly, Fei Molly was mistaken for a spy.
The senior officer had a strong, angular face, high cheekbones, and short, tousled dark brown hair. He arrested her without mercy. His cold leather gloves made her wrists go numb. Following his steady steps, Fei Molly arrived at his tent.
While in custody, she ate and lived with him. Beneath his cold exterior was a burning body. When Fei Molly tried to escape, his fair, solid chest pressed down on her with all its weight.
Outside the tent, gunshots and screams mingled with the howling wind.
Snowflakes drifted down like goose feathers. The soldiers could see only a vast, blinding whiteness, but soon the gigantic creature began to take shape.
The monsters were here.

Years of military training had made the man's palms rough and callused. When he reached out to touch her cheek, he suddenly paused. "What's your name?"
Her image was reflected in his light blue eyes. Her voice drifted back, distorted.
Molly.
Fei Molly's figure disappeared into the vast white snow.
