I Found That Closing My Eyes While Solving Cases in Mihua Is Much More Efficient

Detective Carl DeWinter, sent by the Suppression Bureau, has been daydreaming ever since he arrived on the Detective Conan set.

His dreams don't just play crime scenes in crystal-clear detail; they also let him track down some strange people with sinister reputations.

Falling asleep anywhere and everywhere isn't a pleasant feeling. It makes him feel, to put it mildly, like a lunatic.

But if he can find the culprit with his eyes closed, then dreaming is a virtue.

What's more, Detective Carl DeWinter has met a master here and realized he can improve his dream skills even further.

The detective, an aspiring daydreamer, fixes his gaze on Mouri:

"Master, how do you keep your body awake while your mind falls asleep, and then say out loud the truth you saw in your dream as it happens?"

The detective is eager to learn: "I can learn how."

The real Mouri disciple, Amuro Tooru: "Wake up, Detective! You're the only lunatic here!!"

The detective is perfectly earnest: "I still have room to improve."

Daydreaming is wonderful.

I'm sure the inspectors at the Suppression Bureau would approve of this way of solving cases too.

Carl is growing fonder and fonder of closing his eyes.

Until one day, his former colleagues at the Suppression Bureau kick his door in: "Don't move, damn it! Hands up!"

Diligent Detective Carl: ...

Well, looks like another productive day!
