Fu Jiayan is an Omega who still has no pheromones three years after his differentiation. His mother takes him to hospitals all over the country, but every doctor gives the same diagnosis:

"There are no problems with any of your test results. Once you reach adulthood and your glands finish developing, you'll have pheromones."

Unlike his anxious mother, Fu Jiayan doesn't care whether he's a Beta or an Omega. If he could choose, he'd rather be a Beta with no pheromones and no heat cycles.

At the start of his second year of high school, his childhood friend, who grew up with him, suddenly drops back into his life.
