Yu Sui wants to be turned into a living specimen.
He thinks about it every day.
His existence has no value. Perhaps becoming a living specimen would prove that he had been here.
But his body is battered and covered in wounds. Who would ever want to buy him?
Yu Sui wraps his whole body in white bandages, lies in a solution, and imagines himself being turned into a living specimen.
But he never becomes one.
Until one afternoon, when he gets drunk, staggers into an alley, and accidentally activates a magic circle that transports him to a private auction house. Before he knows it, he's in a cage.
Under the stark white lights, the auctioneer tears off his clothes, revealing layers of white bandages.
The auction begins.
"Starting bid: 200 gold coins."
Yu Sui stares blankly at the packed auction hall as he hears the bids climb higher and higher.
So many people want to have him?
In the end, he is sold for 1,000 gold coins to a succubus of high standing.
The auctioneer asks Yu Sui, "Would you like to say anything to your new master?"
Yu Sui thinks for a moment, then says, "I want to be turned into a living specimen."
The next second, a voice rings out.
"2,000 gold coins."
The bidding begins again.
At a private auction, Hope buys a strange human.
The human is in very poor health.
His long hair is a little messy, his skin is even paler than his bandages, and his limbs are thin and weak. His eyes are unfocused and his mind is hazy. He seems to be injured, with blood soaking through his bandages. His amber eyes look like dusty gemstones, dim and lifeless.
Hope takes him home. The human looks into his eyes and asks quietly, "When are you going to turn me into a living specimen?"
Hope pats his head. It feels nice. "We'll talk about that after your injuries heal."
In the days that follow, Hope teaches the human how to get along with people, how to sleep without fear, and how to express his needs properly.
Hope takes good care of the human.
But as he cares for him, they end up in bed together.
Curled up in the blankets, the human asks, "When are you going to turn me into a living specimen?"
Hope kisses the corner of his mouth and coaxes, "Be good. I'll grant your wish once I've had my fill."
A sickly guy who wants to die at any moment, number one, and his demon caretaker, who's both his mommy and daddy, number zero.
Yu Sui was framed, so he's small at the beginning. He grows later on, but there's still a significant size difference between him and Hope. Early on, 150 x 195; later, 165 x 195. Please support our little gong and big shou, thanks, meow.
