After an accident and a long separation, the cannon fodder becomes the leader of the beastmen, while the protagonist remains the highest commander.

By day, they clash like fire and water, their swords drawn and tempers flaring.

But at night...

The disheveled commander embraces the sentinel from behind, mental threads winding around every inch of his senses.

"You were so mean to me today," the protagonist murmurs, biting the cannon fodder's earlobe, his voice hoarse. "...Aren't you going to make it up to me?"
