In high school, Jiang Yu and Gu Jin were deskmates. Jiang Yu was among the top ten in her grade, but she wasn't good at talking to people and always kept her head down. Some people thought she was an easy target and bullied her. Gu Jin was kind-hearted and often stood up for Jiang Yu. Gu Jin became the only person in class who spent time with her, and in turn became Jiang Yu's light.
