[JoJo's Bizarre Adventure + Resident Evil] DIO Insists on Being My Dog

The first dozen or so chapters are about raising little Dio. If you want to read about him as an adult, you can start from Chapter 14 onward.

I hate you. I hate that you left me. I hate that you forgot me. I hate that you don't love me. I hate that I'm not the only one you love. I hate that you refuse to love me.

DSO rookie agent Pearl stepped into the wrong time machine while on a mission, and somehow found herself with a stepson who seemed completely harmless.

She recognized him: Dio Brando, a villain rotten to the core. Someone like him should be killed in the cradle, before he can wreak havoc on the world.

But seeing the child, malnourished and skin and bones, abused by his own father and nearly killed by zombies, Pearl's heart softened.

She temporarily took on the responsibility of looking after Dio.

But this child had never known warmth and didn't think like a normal person. Even when he was sick, he clung tightly to her clothes and threatened her: "Don't leave me. Even if I have to chase you to the ends of the earth, I'll find you and bring you back."

Their pretend relationship ended the day Pearl disappeared. Dio, abandoned by her, had long since become a twisted vampire. He climbed out of his coffin and followed her scent to her side. He was jealous. He was furious. He held a knife to her throat. He was going to kill her.

"I hate you. You betrayed me. I'm going to kill you, Pearl."

Looking at Dio, no longer human and now allied with the enemy, Pearl pulled the trigger without hesitation.

After Umbrella fell, Dio was locked away beneath the sea, sealed inside the deepest coffin. After experiencing more than a hundred years of loneliness, he regained his freedom, became even more obsessive, and began indiscriminately hurting everyone who came near Pearl.

He locked her up and hid her away. In the dead of night, he would rest his head on her knees and cry.

"I hate you."

"Okay. Got it."

Pearl: Please go see a doctor. I can't be your therapist, mom, wife, lover, teacher, enemy, friend, and family all at once.

This is a crossover world combining Resident Evil and JoJo. You should be able to follow along even if you're unfamiliar with the original works.
