The Ghost-Eating Tree

Wangshu Village was named after a tree.

Legend said that a fearsome ghost was sealed inside it.

Every villager was descended from the Wang clan,

and each was born destined to live for the sake of keeping the evil ghost sealed.

The day her mother died, the young girl accidentally broke the seal,

and became bound to the ghost in marriage.

She was descended from his enemy,

and he was born a ghost, destined to have no feelings.

Until the day she died,

when he killed everyone related to her by blood to save her.
