The Gods' Child Once Came from Fushiguro's Belly [Fushiguro Megumi Otome]

*

In her classmates' eyes, Nana Saiki is head over heels for her school bully boyfriend. Every day, she prepares him a lovingly packed lunch and keeps him updated around the clock.

By comparison, her graduated upperclassman, Megumi Fushiguro, seems much colder.

They started dating after graduation, but he hasn't shown up even once since graduating.

Her classmates can't help complaining about it.

Nana can only say shyly, "I'll just wait for him to come see me in ten months."

What a hopelessly lovesick thing to say!

Her classmates try to talk some sense into her, but she remains stubbornly devoted.

Every time they see her, they can tell this idiot has fallen for him a little more. All she does every day is go on and on calling him "baby."

[Made a nutritious lunch for Baby again today. Baby, make sure you eat properly, okay? Stay healthy!]

[Did Baby yawn and stretch today? Ah Wei, just imagining it is so cute.]

[Baby, I wish I could see you sooner.]

Megumi Fushiguro thinks he has recently been subjected to sexual harassment. He feels a sticky, constricting presence clinging to him in his sleep, and every day there are suggestive red marks on his stomach.

But whenever he wakes up, he can't help wondering if it was all just his imagination.

The moment he received a message about the sexual harassment, Megumi sighed, "The day has finally come."

He thought he could handle it.

It turned out he'd clearly overestimated himself.

[First of all, I'm not your baby. Second, I have no intention of getting involved with anyone.]

Things came to a brief end.

Until he arrived at the juvenile detention center, where a pair of hands gently caught him. [I told you, I won't let anyone bully my baby.]

Like the respected second-year upperclassman, Megumi Fushiguro has become entangled with a curse.

His classmates sense that something is off. "It's a guardian spirit."

They've all seen for themselves how those gentle hands picked Fushiguro up like a child. It was so sickeningly sweet.

But will Fushiguro lift the curse from his guardian spirit, just like that second-year upperclassman did?

Megumi Fushiguro fell silent.

[Actually, she could be an ally to us, couldn't she?]

Megumi realized that he was even greedier than the upperclassman he respected.

Reader's Guide

1. The pregnancy in the early chapters is a phantom pregnancy. Everyone is set at just over eighteen, but they're still too young.

2. This is basically a rescue story for Megumi. He's one of the few fictional characters I genuinely like, and he's had it too rough both in canon and outside of it, so this story will have various characters transmigrating into scenes from the original work.

3. The female lead is a little dark and a little obedient, and in real life she might seem like the type who wants people to bully her.

4. The female lead really does pamper Megumi like he's a child.

5. OOC warning. I'll add more if I think of anything.
