A person who believes they hate the gods sets out on a path of atonement to redeem themself.
A funny redemption story that's both clichéd and unconventional. The auntie isn't a good person in the traditional sense.
You can skip the first eight chapters. First-person narration, with a slight tendency for people to mistake the protagonist for someone they aren't. There are viewpoints from the Master and the sword warriors.
In the first eight chapters, the Master seems rather pitiful and tsundere, but they're really just a smug troll. Don't believe anything they say about themself, good or bad.
Master: I hate myself so much.
Kiyomitsu: I love you!
Master: ? (Runs back to the citadel with their head in their hands.)
Inside the citadel, the Master: Even I have so much fun reacting like that~
One day, the Master forged Hasebe. Hasebe was so enthusiastic that the Master kept avoiding him.
The tantos: Is the Master playing hide-and-seek with Hasebe? I want to play too!
And so the citadel's first hide-and-seek tournament began. Whoever caught the Master would get to serve as their attendant for a day.
Conan: I suspect Chaoyang.
Chaoyang: .? (Thinking) Sure, whatever.
The sword warriors: Frantically searching for evidence. Some even started wondering how they could rescue the Master without hurting them.
Conan: I don't suspect Chaoyang.
Chaoyang: Frantically gathering evidence to make Conan suspect himself.
Conan: You're treating me like a joke, aren't you!
Chaoyang: Uh, no.
Theme: Love can overcome anything
