The Seaside Village Tapes

"These days, a show isn't worth watching unless a few people die."

An ordinary seaside town, ordinary villagers, and an ordinary variety-show script and setup. The only unusual thing is an old ancestral shrine ruin five kilometers from White Sand Villa, neither quite Chinese nor Western. It was brought in by the opening of coastal ports in the nineteenth century, along with all that money.

A lighthearted variety show suddenly turns into a hellscape where no one survives.

As the cameraman following movie star Zhuang Li'an, Gong Qi figures that, given how thoroughly the star likes to lie flat, he probably won't survive forty-eight hours. Since Gong Qi does have a few tricks up his sleeve, he'd better help out and see what he can find.

Lovecraftian movie star and beautiful, wicked top, the culprit (Zhuang Li'an) x nonhuman cameraman, handsome and charming bottom (Gong Qi)

One-on-one, happy ending, primarily from the bottom's perspective

Before you read:

* The top lies to the bottom constantly. In return, the bottom may also resort to violence. They're a perfect match.

* Includes Lovecraftian sanity-draining descriptions. Until the middle of the story, you'll need to lower your moral standards to enjoy it. Everyone is crazy.
