This is a world where humans and Phantom Spirits coexist.
Lu Zhaoxing returned to school to retrieve a test paper he'd forgotten to take home, only to be attacked by a wild Phantom Spirit. He accidentally fell into the Phantom Spirit world known as the "Cave" and nearly ran himself to death trying to escape.
Fortunately, all hope wasn't lost. Before a wild Phantom Spirit could slice off his head, Lu Zhaoxing met a common-grade Phantom Spirit, a little ghost.
Even among common-grade Phantom Spirits, the little ghost was among the weakest. It would still be weak after evolving, and any Spirit Tamer with ambition would never choose to form a contract with one. But in his moment of danger, it was the only one who reached out to Lu Zhaoxing.
Lu Zhaoxing took its hand without hesitation.
So what if it was "the weakest Ghost-type Phantom Spirit"? Lu Zhaoxing was confident that with his tactical command skills and brutal training, combined with the little ghost's incredible fighting spirit, they could cut their way through the strong competition and prevail in Phantom Spirit battles.
Their goal: the national championship!
This novel was inspired by pet-raising battle games such as Pokemon and Digimon. If anything seems similar, that's completely normal!
The story includes: forming contracts with Phantom Spirits, Phantom Spirit training, evolution, cave exploration, and Phantom Spirit battles (solo and team).
The main characters: a broke, battle-crazed BKing who's generous to Phantom Spirits, and his older partner who loves teasing cats
The world's strongest doubles team + singles rivals who refuse to cross paths
A progression story, a long read, and adorable pets. Please support the little ghost! Support the future world champion, Little Lu!
