Xie Xingyue's Story:

Xie Xingyue, a poor girl, suddenly gets hit by a pie falling from the sky:

He Jinchuan, the only son of Haishi's richest man, turns out to be the fiancé her family promised her to before she was even born!

He Jinchuan isn't just the top student in their grade, he's also a popular motorcycle vlogger with countless die-hard fans.

Half the girls at school are in love with him and worship him like an idol. Some even boast that they'd be happy to be his concubines.

Xie Xingyue can't help worrying that He Jinchuan won't accept an utterly ordinary fiancée like her.

And so He Jinchuan bullies and takes what he wants from Xie Xingyue every day, pinning her against the wall with red-rimmed eyes and kissing her like his life depends on it.

Xie Xingyue can't take his pestering anymore, so she finally agrees to date him.

He takes advantage of the moment, buys a famous internet landmark building by the river and gives it to her, then takes her up to the roof to watch the stars and the moon.

On a sweltering midsummer night, he puts an arm around her shoulders and whispers in her ear:

"Xingyue, may I be a star and you the moon, our lights shining brightly together night after night."
