The Water Minato Squad returns from the Three-Tails mission with everyone injured. Thankfully, Kakashi and Rin are fine, and they’ve even recovered Obito, who had been declared dead.
It’s just that there seems to be something a little off about this Uchiha. He can use Wood Release!!!
And what happened to the cheerful, sunny Uchiha? How did he turn into a gloomy, furious, hair-trigger Uchiha? Did he mutate?
Before Minato can figure out what’s going on, a plea for help suddenly appears on the Konoha forums. The original poster, frazzled and anxious, asks: How do you comfort a former genius teammate who’s become clingy and cries all the time after a serious injury?
The replies are all over the place. Some tease that it’s a match made in heaven, others think it’s a trauma response, and a few even trot out the ninja “tool theory” to sneer at them. As the layers are peeled back, we find a dying plea from a teammate behind the mission, Kakashi’s unspeakable guilt, and Obito’s towering fury after surviving death and seeing his dear friend in ruins.

That's great. I had thought before that ninjas could actually use ninjutsu to build things. It's really efficient. This ending is plain and heartwarming.
It's very well written, I burst into tears at the end 😭
I was so speechless that I laughed out loud. No brainwashing by Madara was needed. The views of these Konoha ninjas on war were enough to darken Obito.
